Season of the Cage
A month ago my friend AC and I saw Season of the Witch because we love Nicolas Cage even when he is terrible. Unfortunately Cage was sort of laid back during this forgettable medieval buddy film and it wasn’t a terrible disaster like we might have hoped. The biggest source of laughs was British actor Stephen Graham speaking with a thick New York accent during the Crusades. We have much higher/(lower?) hopes for Drive Angry 3D though. The film, released next week, stars Cage as “a vengeful father who escapes from hell and chases after the men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.” This is definitely going to be amazing.
