Pj Harvey – Let England Shake

If you’re not already a PJ Harvey fan, you might be intimidated to jump into her Best New Music-awarded new LP because her discography is so large. Don’t be deterred. I’ve never really been a fan but her new album Let England Shake is excellent. I have like 5 or 6 different contenders for favorite song so I’ll just start with the first one. Each of the songs on the album are pretty different so the title track isn’t really an indication of what it sounds like, it’s just the first good one on one of my early favorite albums of 2011.
