Bon Iver – Calgary

So apparently people like this Bon Iver character, huh? Everyone is going nuts for his new album which I’ve been enjoying for the past few weeks in an easy listening sort of way. I had tried listening to “To Emma, Forever Ago” when it came out but it didn’t grab me at the time. His new record (out today) “Bon Iver, Bon Iver” may seem like pleasant background music at first but after a dozen or so listens it starts to grow on you. Some of my favorites are the album closer “Beth/Rest” (which sounds kind of like Passion Pit covering Phil Collins) and this one “Calgary” which sounds like what you are about to listen to.
