If I’m lucky, every couple months I’ll find something to get really really excited about. Right now that something is Beirut. I remember hearing about him a few years ago and just thinking “Gypsy-trumpet-what? Not for me”. Let me tell you I was wrong. Beirut is amazing. It’s the sort of music that breathes atmosphere, like you want to be in some other country listening to it. He has two new EP’s being released next month one of which is electronic in an amazing Magnetic Fields way. You have to listen to this. I will help you.
